I am looking for 40 amazing women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and up, for a one-of-a-kind empowering experience celebrating their life and their story.
It’s time to start a conversation about the beauty of aging, change the way the world and media define it, and embrace the freedom and confidence about finally being comfortable in our own skin.

The 40 Over 40 Project is about empowering women in their 40's, 50's, 60's and beyond. It's about starting a conversation around the beauty of aging and changing the way we define it. So often, this demographic is not photographed and it's time for them to be seen and heard. I will be photographing and interviewing 40 women over the age of 40. The photoshoot experience will include a full makeover by our professional hair and makeup artist, a guided portrait session and a ticket to our exclusive 40 Over 40 Gala. Not only will this project help empower 40 women, it will also help support a fantastic charity: Dress for Success Halifax!

Many women sacrifice so much for their families, their children, and their careers, that by the time they turn 40, they discover they haven't done anything for themselves in years. But also, by the time women get to their 40s, they've hopefully accepted that their beauty and happiness are not defined by a certain shape or size.
